Research Now is looking for a talented and high performing individual to join its expanding Survey Programming team in London. Survey Scripting/ Survey Programming experience is not required as training will be provided, but you should have a technical qualification and an interest in scripting.

Overview of Job Responsibilities
We are recruiting for the role of DP Analyst within our Operations team. The main role of the DP Analyst is to check and produce complex data tables and other data formats and to ensure the accuracy of those files against complex online questionnaires. You will also be sharing your knowledge with the wider team and providing training and support for colleagues.
In this role you will be working closely with operations team members in survey programming and project management to execute successful projects for our clients, whilst reporting to the team leader of your designated team.

JOB SUMMARY:
Candidate should be a talented and highly motivated Senior Oracle DBA who possess detailed knowledge of Oracle server features to support capacity planning and analysis including size estimations for real memory, disk storage, CPUs, backup and recovery, system throughput and response times and concurrent usage. The position is required to participate on project teams and to provide consultative support for the developer community. The Oracle DBA will analyze and implement the physical database design and structure, ensure enterprise database environments are in optimal condition, manage production databases, and support complex problem-solving challenges. Under general direction, you will be part of the Infrastructure engineering team providing, hands-on infrastructure support. The Sr. Oracle DBA to be a technical leader responsible for ensuring the highest levels of performance and maximum uptime for all aspects of the production database Infrastructure supporting both internal and external customers. This position will be responsible for the design, implementation, support and maintenance of the architecture that supports business needs. The Sr. Oracle DBA is responsible for ensuring Service Level Agreements for performance, availability, and recoverability are met as well as providing documentation and planning of functional on-line systems and implementation of new enhanced system(s). Qualifications:
Five years in the physical database design, development, test, installation, and performance tuning of Oracle databases in the UNIX (Sun Solaris preferred) environment.
Five years in the structured system life cycle processes for design, development, testing, integration, deployment, and maintenance of database models.
Expert knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN and Performance Tuning Techniques
Experience with Oracle SQL, PL-SQL and SQL-Loader.
Experience in UNIX programming and shell scripting.
Ability to determine file organization and indexing methods for user applications under Oracle.
Experience in conducting performance, sizing, and optimization analysis using Oracle performance tools.
Specific experience/expertise using the Oracle RDBMS to implement large (GB to TB) databases.
Oracle DBA experience with Version 10g
Education & Experience Required
