Position: Project Manager
Department: Market Research Client Services Reports to: Manager, Client Services Location: Dallas, Texas / Los Angeles, California
Job Description
The role of a Market Research Project Manager is to provide world-class client service through managing our client’s custom market research projects. PMs coordinate project production activities, manage client expectations, and monitor key project success metrics. The job requires an organized and detail-oriented individual who can successfully manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•
Consistently exceed client expectations for delivering market research data and services
•
Manage multiple concurrent projects to schedule and budget in a fast paced environment with minimal error
•
Proactively communicate with internal and external clients regarding project milestones, potential hurdles, etc.
•
Monitor/ensure the quality and profitability of market research studies
•
Create, analyze, and deliver market research data extracts and statistical reports
•
Solve complex mathematical and logic intensive project challenges
•
Effectively work/communicate both as an individual and as part of a team
Personal qualities that are a must for the position include a proactive—do what it takes—outlook, excellent quantitative, spreadsheet, and data analysis skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and a track record of achievement. A strong technical aptitude while not required is a major plus.

Bachelor’s degree
Experience Required
A minimum of 1-3 years account/project management experience is required. A minimum of 1-3 years of market research experience desired.
Skills and Knowledge Required
Must be an advanced user of a PC, the Internet, and the MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel. Experience with MS Access, other database management tools, and relational database design preferred. Experience with data analysis packages such as SPSS or Quantum while not required is a major plus.

Senior Business Intelligence Developer – Team Lead
Department: Technology Reports to: Datamart Architect Location: Plano, Texas
Job Description
Seeking a senior-level BI developer to help develop and maintain its enterprise data warehouse, supporting both operational and analytical reporting. This position will report to the Business Intelligence Architect.
Candidate will be responsible for:
Work directly with business intelligence architect on KPI / business rule definitions
Provide technical guidance and support to the ETL development team and presentation team, on both strategic and tactical deliverables
Develop, unit and integration test ETL mappings using Oracle Warehouse Builder, SQL and PL/SQL. Resolve ETL issues if they are encountered during UAT
Assist the BI architect with high-level design as needed, and perform detail design of strategic and tactical deliverables
Work with key business constituents to prioritize tactical requests
Assist the BI architect with evolution and enforcement of development methodology (coding standards, release management, naming conventions, monitoring, etc)
Education Required
B.A. or B.S. in Information Technology (MIS, Computer Science or related field)
Experience Required
•
7+ years experience developing ETL using SQL and PL/SQL on an Oracle RDBMS, using established design methodologies and development techniques (Kimball)
Professional Requirements
•
3+ years experience with dimensional modeling and logical/physical database design on an Oracle RDBMS (Oracle 9i and above)
•
Prior experience using Oracle Warehouse Builder
•
Unix shell scripting
•
Toad, PL/SQL developer, or equivalent
•
Strong communication skills
•
Strong critical thinking and complex problem solving skills
•
Self-directed, positive attitude
•
Can complete tasks in a timely manner without supervision
•
Prior experience with OBIEE is a huge plus

Job Description
The role of the Project Manager is to design, plan, coordinate and execute enterprise wide projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. Involves interaction with application development, technology infrastructure, business operations, sales, and other business unit personnel to drive project cohesiveness. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle

Education Required
Bachelors degree required in business information systems or very similar degree required
Experience Required
•
Minimum of 5 years direct work experience as a project manager, including all aspects of process development and execution. This experience must be highly demonstrable.
•
A minimum of three years project managing custom application development projects required. Experience in environments that use a RAD approach such as Agile preferred
•
Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project
•
Good teamwork, collaboration, and interpersonal skills required. Demonstrated ability to lead, encourage and motivate project team members to consistently meet deadlines
•
Strong written and oral communication skills
•
Attention to detail that ensures follow through on all initiatives implemented, and all projects undertaken
•
Initiative and ability to work independently (self-direction), while thriving in a setting requiring collaboration and teamwork for maximal efficiency and effectiveness
•
Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical ad problem-solving capabilities
•
